Springtide Music Festival 2026 — Uxbridge, Ontario
If you’ve never spent a June weekend in downtown Uxbridge, Springtide is the reason to start. For three days in mid-June, this small historic town about an hour northeast of Toronto transforms into something genuinely special — 60+ Canadian artists spilling out of restaurants, breweries, shops, and heritage buildings along a 750-metre stretch of Brock Street, all accessible with a single festival wristband.
Springtide 2026 runs June 11–13, kicking off Thursday evening with a Launch Party headlined by Dan Mangan, then moving into a full two-day festival featuring Kasador, Robyn Ottolini, Yukon Blonde, Shakura S’aida, Natalie MacMaster and dozens more. There’s also a free Youth Stage, intimate in-the-round workshops, Yoga Tune-Up, and a Town Trolley looping the downtown core so you never miss a set.

✨ What Makes Springtide Worth the Drive
Springtide is the rare kind of music festival that actually feels like a community event rather than a production. The scale is intentional — a 750-metre festival strip through historic downtown Uxbridge, maybe a dozen venues on any given day, and a crowd that’s there because they actually love music rather than because it’s the thing to do on a Saturday. That vibe is hard to manufacture and Springtide has had it from the start.
The lineup is all Canadian, which means you’re getting artists who actually care about being there — JUNO nominees, beloved touring acts, and a healthy contingent of rising artists you’ll be talking about by fall. In 2026, the headliners alone — Dan Mangan, Kasador, Robyn Ottolini, Yukon Blonde, Shakura S’aida, Natalie MacMaster — represent a serious cross-section of what’s good in Canadian music right now.
Uxbridge itself is a draw. The town has real character — independent shops, good restaurants, heritage buildings — and the festival spills into all of it. Venues include a craft brewery, a proper music hall, restaurants, and outdoor stages. A Town Trolley loops the whole route so you can hop between shows without ever losing your spot in the day.

🥂 Yoga Tune-Up
A festival morning yoga session to set the tone before the music gets going. Check the Yoga Tune-Up page for timing and details.
🚕 Town Trolley Shuttle
A continuous trolley loop around the downtown core makes it easy to hop between venues without losing time. Look for Town Trolley signs along the festival route. A regional shuttle also runs from Port Perry (Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel) — great if you’re coming from that direction.
🌳 Outdoor Mainstage
The outdoor gated mainstage area allows you to bring your own chairs, blankets, and umbrellas. Local restaurants and cafés will be serving food and snacks on site. No outside alcohol — no smoking or vaping on the grounds. Empty water bottles are welcome for refill.
👦 Springtide with Kids — Here’s the Good News
Springtide is one of the more genuinely family-friendly music festivals in Ontario, and not just on paper. Kids 12 and under get in free at most venues (accompanied by an adult), which means you can actually bring the whole family without doing painful math on the ticket budget.
🅾 Free Youth Stage
Local and regional young musicians (18 & under) perform for all ages. No wristband needed. A genuinely great platform for emerging talent.
🅾 Free Workshops
The in-the-round workshop stages are free for everyone — intimate, interactive, and a genuinely different kind of music experience for curious kids.
🎁 Colouring Contest
A festival-wide colouring contest for younger attendees. Details at springtidemusicfestival.com.
⚠️ Note: The lower level of Wixan’s Bridge is 19+ only. Children are welcome at all other festival venues accompanied by an adult. Free child access does not apply at Uxbridge Music Hall when reserved seating is required.

🍴 Where to Eat in Uxbridge
Festival venues include restaurants, so you’re rarely far from food. On the outdoor mainstage grounds, local restaurants and cafés serve snacks. Nearby favourites on the Brock St strip include Col. McGrady’s, Corner House Pub, FIG Kitchen, Wixan’s Bridge, The Bridge Social, and the always-reliable The Second Wedge Brewing.
💡 The Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel runs a shuttle directly to the festival from Port Perry — if you book a stay there, you’ve solved the parking problem entirely. Check the Springtide hotel packages page for bundle deals that include a weekend pass and shuttle service.
💡 Tips for Your Springtide Weekend
🎫 Buy the weekend pass over single-day tickets if you’re planning to see more than four artists. The math tilts heavily toward the pass — and weekend passes sell out.
🕒 Popular venues fill up fast. If a show is on your must-see list, get to that venue 20–30 minutes early. Wristband entry is subject to capacity. Single-event ticket holders have reserved space, so there’s a meaningful difference.
🚕 Use the Town Trolley. It loops continuously between venues and it’s genuinely useful — especially later in the day when your feet have started to express opinions.
🅾 Don’t skip the free stuff. The Youth Stage, the in-the-round workshops, and the free amplified performances at outdoor locations are often where you discover the artist you’ll be obsessed with by July. These need no wristband.
🚫 No outside alcohol at any venue. Licensed venues operate under their own liquor licences. Bring empty water bottles for refill stations at the mainstage. No smoking or vaping on festival grounds.
⛽ Grab a printed schedule at the Hub. The Festival Hub at 88 Brock St W (H. Bee Architecture) has printed schedules with venue maps — useful when you want to plan your route without squinting at your phone between sets.
