OntarioFestivals.ca is an independent, Ontario-based guide helping people
discover festivals, fairs, markets and community events happening across
the province.
Our story
Ontario is filled with experiences worth discovering. Every week,
communities across the province come together to celebrate their culture,
creativity, food, music, history, traditions and local identity.
The challenge is not finding great things to do. It is knowing they exist.
Many events are promoted within their own communities, making them harder
for people from other parts of Ontario to discover.
We created OntarioFestivals.ca to bring those experiences together in one
place. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, exploring a new region
or looking for something close to home, we want to make discovering
Ontario easier.
What we are here to do
Help people explore Ontario through the events and experiences that make
each community unique, while helping the organizers behind them reach new
audiences.
What we cover
We bring together events of different sizes, styles and locations so
people can see more of what is happening throughout Ontario.
Festivals
Music, food, arts, film, heritage, seasonal and cultural festivals
happening across the province.
Fairs
Agricultural fairs, fall fairs, community exhibitions, midways and
long-standing local traditions.
Markets
Farmers’ markets, artisan markets, maker markets, seasonal markets
and local shopping experiences.
Community events
Parades, public celebrations, street events, fundraisers and
gatherings that bring communities together.

We want to make it easier for people to discover new experiences,

Supporting event organizers
We provide organizers with a place to share their events and connect
with people who are actively looking for things to experience across
the province.
Making discovery accessible
Event submissions are free. We want communities and organizers
throughout Ontario to be able to share what they are creating and
reach people beyond their existing audiences.
Providing useful information
We work to present event dates, locations, admission information and
other important details clearly so visitors can plan with confidence.
Celebrating every community
Every event contributes to the character of the place behind it. We
aim to showcase experiences from communities throughout the province.

By organizing events by location and region, we help visitors explore
