✨ Why JACKALOPE Mississauga Is Worth a Downtown Detour
JACKALOPE describes itself as where legends are born, and after a couple of editions in Mississauga, that’s not just a tagline — this is one of the biggest action sports festivals on the global circuit, and it lands right in the heart of the city’s downtown square for three days every July.
The headline draw is street and vert skateboarding, with international pros going head to head in front of a downtown crowd, but the festival doesn’t stop there. Bouldering, BMX, and Moto X demos all share the bill, and between heats there’s live music, food trucks, and pop-up shops to wander through.
Best of all, watching is completely free for spectators of every age — the paid tickets are for athletes entering competitions or fans who want VIP access, not for simply showing up to watch the action.

Spectating is free, but if you want to skate in a competition yourself, get hands-on with the facilities, or watch from the VIP area, JACKALOPE sells passes online for that.
VIP Pass
Premium access to the festival for spectators who want an elevated weekend, from $226 CAD.
Skateboarding Competitions
Street and Vert Open divisions, plus Grom (U15) and Mini Ramp Pup Cup (U7) categories for younger skaters.
Shredder Pass
Lets you use the street or vert facilities yourself outside of competition heats, from $67.80 CAD.
Meet & Greet
A signing session with athletes is on the schedule for Saturday, July 11, from $113 CAD.

Payment
Visa, Mastercard, and debit are accepted. Bars, the merch stand, and the ticket office are cashless.
Pets
Dogs are welcome on site, as long as they’re kept on a leash.
Skateboards & Strollers
Both are welcome. Bringing your own board to use the facilities requires booking a Shredder Pass in advance.
Smoking & Vaping
Designated smoking areas will be marked on site; cigarette packs must stay sealed in original packaging.
Accessibility
The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility, with accessible restrooms on site and accessible parking nearby with a valid permit.
Weather
Some competitions run under cover and won’t be affected by rain, but bad weather may pause programming temporarily. There are no refunds — check JACKALOPE’s app or socials for live updates.

🚗 Getting There & Parking
Celebration Square sits right in downtown Mississauga, about 20 minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport by car or taxi.
By transit: MiWay and GO Transit both connect to Square One Bus Terminal, just steps from the venue.
Parking: Free lots surround Square One and Celebration Square (check posted time limits), with more options at the Civic Centre Parking Garage on Living Arts Drive, the Living Arts Centre, and the Mississauga Central Library lot. Metered street parking near City Centre is limited. Arrive early or take transit, since free lots fill up fast.
