Drive time: Toronto → Cobourg (1.5 hrs) → Port Hope (30 min back west) → Home (1.5 hrs from Port Hope)
🎭 Ottawa Hub (Buskerfest + Puppets Up! + Almonte Area)
The Plan: Buskerfest runs all three days on Sparks Street. Puppets Up! runs Aug 8–9 in Almonte (30 min away). Spend morning/midday in Ottawa on Sparks, drive to Almonte for afternoon/evening puppet shows and parades.
Drive time: Toronto → Ottawa (4.5 hrs) · Ottawa ↔ Almonte (30 min)
🏝️ Island Escape (Wolfe Island + Kingston)
The Plan: Wolfe Island is 20 min by free ferry from downtown Kingston. Make it a getaway: explore Kingston Friday/Saturday, catch Wolfe Island Music Festival evening shows. Weekend pass gives you both nights (Fri/Sat).
