🏛️ A Fair Since 1867
The Feversham Agricultural Society has held some form of fall fair since 1867, making the 2026 edition its 159th year — a run of consecutive fairs spanning both World Wars and the Depression. Past presidents’ records at the Society go back to W.H. Guy in 1922, and the fair has been led by a rotating cast of local farm families ever since.
The fair still runs its Ambassador Program, sending Junior and Senior Ambassadors to represent Feversham at District 10 meetings, the OAAS Convention, and the CNE Ambassador of the Fairs competition in Toronto. Membership in the Agricultural Society itself remains part of the fair’s structure — a $10 membership is required to compete in most classes, a tradition that traces directly back to the fair’s founding as a members’ organization built to support local agriculture.
