π‘ One of Bruce County’s longest-running agricultural fairs, held right on the Lake Huron waterfront in Kincardine’s historic Connaught Park.
β¨ 175 Years of Agricultural Tradition
The Kincardine Agricultural Society has been running this fair for nearly two centuries, making it one of Bruce County’s most enduring community institutions. This isn’t nostalgia for nostalgia’s sakeβthe fair genuinely celebrates what makes rural Ontario tick: 4-H youth programs that develop the next generation of farmers, livestock shows that showcase regional agriculture, and homecraft exhibits that preserve traditional skills.
Held right at Connaught Park on the shores of Lake Huron, the fair benefits from one of Ontario’s most stunning natural settings. The park offers both the lakeside charm that draws visitors and the wide-open space that agricultural fairs need. Free admission means families can spend an entire Labour Day weekend day here without worrying about cost.
The 2026 themeβ”Tipping our Hats to 175!”βcelebrates this milestone year with music, children’s activities, and the full slate of agricultural competitions that make fall fairs matter to the farming community.
