✨ Why This Fair Is Worth the Drive
Lucknow’s fair has been going long enough that 2026 marks its 154th year, run out of the Lucknow Arena in this small Bruce County town in Huron-Kinloss Township. The 2026 theme, “A Barnyard Bash,” runs through everything from the pie auction to the Family Fun Zone décor.
Friday night sets a different tone than most fall fairs — it’s entirely free, built around an Extreme Stunt Show from the Krusher Stunt Team, old-fashioned games and frog jumping outside, and free arena-floor bingo with seven games and prizes for all ages. Saturday shifts into full fair mode with the parade, an antique car and tractor show, and a Family Fun Zone that runs from 11 AM straight through to 4 PM.
Sunday closes things out on a gentler note — a community breakfast, a church service, and a Blessing of the Pets at the Gazebo followed by a Pet Show, a nice change of pace after two days of stunt shows and carnival games.

The Lucknow Agricultural Society’s fair has run for over 150 years in this small Huron-Kinloss township community, making 2026’s edition its 154th year. Like many long-running Ontario fairs, its identity is tied closely to the town itself — Lucknow’s Scottish heritage runs deep, and the fair sits alongside other long-standing local traditions in a town of just over 1,100 people.
The fair’s Ambassador Program remains a central part of Friday night’s Opening Ceremonies, and the Society continues to lean into genuinely local, volunteer-run programming — a Fire Department rescue demonstration, a community pancake breakfast, and a pet blessing led by local clergy — rather than outsourcing the weekend to a travelling midway operator.

💡 A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Go
🏍️ Come early Friday for the stunt show. The Krusher Stunt Team goes on at 6 PM, right after food trucks and music start at 5:30 — arrive with time to grab dinner first.
🚙 Want to be in the parade? Antique car and tractor owners can park by 10 AM Saturday to display, or drive their vehicle in the parade itself.
🐕 Bring a leash for the Pet Blessing. Sunday’s blessing at the Gazebo requires all pets to be leashed or otherwise safely contained.
💵 Bring quarters for the games. Saturday’s carnival games run 25 cents each — small cash is handy on top of whatever you budget for food trucks.
