✨ Why It’s Called the Biggest Navratri Festival in North America
The Diversity Cultural Association built this series around a simple idea: instead of one big garba night, bring a different celebrated Gujarati playback singer to the GTA every week or two throughout the Navratri and post-Navratri season. The result is nine distinct nights across 2026, each with its own headliner and its own crowd.
The lineup draws serious names from the Gujarati garba and folk scene — Atul Purohit, Aditya Gadhvi, Kinjal Dave, and Geeta Rabari among them — performing live over the traditional dandiya raas and garba circle dances that define Navratri celebrations.
Most of the season plays out at The International Centre in Mississauga, a large convention venue built for exactly this kind of crowd, before the series wraps with dates in Brampton and Toronto in late October.
