⚠️ Heads up on distance: This is the most spread-out guide yet. Foley Fall Fair (Seguin, near Parry Sound) sits roughly 6+ hours south of Cloverbelt’s Oxdrift market near Dryden, with Sudbury and Matheson landing in between. None of these four are realistically a same-weekend road trip together — treat each as its own destination.

💡 Mild and mostly dry across the north this weekend — low-to-mid 20s everywhere. The one exception: Matheson’s Sunday forecast climbs to a 45% rain chance, though the fair itself wraps up Saturday night, so it shouldn’t affect the main events.

Foley Fall Fair 2026
Sat only · 9am–5pm · Foley Fair Grounds
A small, entirely volunteer-run fair packed into one Saturday near Parry Sound — horse show, Mutt Show, a Tiger Paw Exotics animal display, dunk tank, RC car drag races, and the Famous Foley beef on a bun. No ticketing platform, just show up at the gate; 2026 pricing wasn’t posted as of publication.

📍 Greater Sudbury
Ribfest Sudbury 2026
Fri–Sun · Noon–10pm (Fri/Sat) · Grace Hartman Amphitheatre, Bell Park
Billed as Northern Ontario’s largest festival gathering — six professional BBQ teams compete for Best Ribs, Best Chicken and Best Sauce on the shore of Lake Ramsay, decided by People’s Choice vote. Free entry, nightly live music, a vendor village, and a full licensed bar (19+). Proceeds support local Sudbury charities.
💡 Saturday is peak day — arrive at noon or after 5pm to dodge the busiest food lines and parking. Sunday is quieter with the same full programming.

Matheson Fall Fair 2026
Fri–Sat · Parade Sat 11am · Floyd Hembruff Civic Centre
A genuinely community-built fair along Highway 11 in Northeastern Ontario, midway between Timmins and Cochrane. Agricultural exhibits across vegetables, grains, crafts, baking and farm animals, a Saturday morning parade, a classic car show, and the Fall Fair Dance closing out the night at 8pm.

📍 Oxdrift, near Dryden
Cloverbelt Country Farmers’ Market
Saturday · 9am–noon · Oxdrift Community Hall, Hwy 17
A genuine piece of the food economy in Sunset Country — Kenora District has fewer than 0.2 people per square kilometre, so this market matters more than a typical weekend treat. The Saturday Oxdrift stop is the market’s rural anchor; a second downtown Dryden market runs alternating Thursdays for anyone who misses this one.
💡 Strictly local — the market’s own standard is to feature only produce and goods actually grown or made in the Dryden-Oxdrift area, not resold from elsewhere.
