The 40-Acre Corn Maze Adventure
Picture yourself stepping into golden cornfields stretching across 40 acres. Over three kilometres of pathways wind through the maze, with strategic dead ends designed to challenge and entertain. It’s not just a walk through corn stalks — it’s a genuine puzzle where families split up to search for solutions, meet again at intersections, and laugh together when they backtrack.
This is Durham Region’s largest corn maze, a point of pride for the farm. On a crisp September or October afternoon, navigating the maze becomes a meditative experience — quiet footsteps on earth, the rustle of dried corn leaves, and pure outdoor adventure.

Applewood Farm & Winery has spent the last quarter-century perfecting the art of fruit winemaking. Weekends Only: Friday through Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM (September 19–October 26). Thanksgiving Monday (October 14) is 11 AM to 4 PM.

Comfortable walking shoes (3+ km of maze), layers (September can be warm, late October crisp), and a hat or sunscreen. Autumn clothes work perfectly.
