✨ Why This Festival Is Worth the Trip

There’s no other festival setting in the GTA quite like Guild Park & Gardens. The park was once the Guild of All Arts, a 1930s artist colony, and its grounds are scattered with rescued fragments of demolished downtown Toronto buildings — marble columns, carved facades, and stone reliefs arranged like ancient ruins on a bluff above Lake Ontario. The festival’s main stage, the Greek Theatre, was built from the columns of a 1914 bank headquarters. 🚗 Getting There & Parking

The festival takes place at Guild Park & Gardens, 201 Guildwood Parkway, in the Guildwood neighbourhood of Scarborough, right along the Scarborough Bluffs.

Free parking: Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute at 145 Guildwood Parkway, directly adjacent to the festival venue.

Transit: Guildwood GO Station is the closest rail stop, and TTC buses 116 and 116A run along Guildwood Parkway to the park.

💡 A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Go

🏛 Leave time to wander the ruins. The park’s sculpture garden — columns, facades, and carvings rescued from over 60 demolished Toronto buildings — is worth an hour on its own, and the bluff-top views of Lake Ontario are free with the visit.

💧 Bring a refillable water bottle. There’s a water filling station on-site, so you can skip buying bottled water on a hot July weekend.

⛱ Pack sun protection and comfortable shoes. The vendor booths spread across open parkland with varied terrain — shade exists under the mature trees, but you’ll cover real ground browsing 80+ booths.
