🎼 Line Spike Frontenac 📅 June 27 – 28, 2026 📍 South Frontenac County, ON 👤 All Ages 👦 Kids Under 12 Free 🥘 Drag Your Own Cooler
Line Spike Frontenac 2026
Somewhere between Harrowsmith and Sydenham, on a historic stretch of South Frontenac farmland where the KP and Cataraqui Trail corridors meet, there’s a festival that quietly deserves a lot more attention than it gets. Line Spike Frontenac is back on June 27 & 28, 2026 — two days of music on the grounds of the Day Farm property, about 20 minutes north of Kingston.
The name is a nod to local railway history — line spikes were the iron fasteners that stitched Canada together by rail, and this area sits steps from where the line first connected what is now Toronto and Ottawa. That sense of connecting people through something bigger than yourself runs through everything here. The headliner on Sunday night is Raine Maida & Chantal Kreviazuk, two of Canada’s most beloved singer-songwriters performing together. Saturday closes with Wil & Company. Between the two of them, there are another 16 acts spread across folk, rock, country, blues, and hip hop.

✨ Why This Festival Is Worth the Drive
Kingston-area music fans already know the feeling of watching something genuinely great happen in a place most people haven’t heard of yet. Line Spike Frontenac has that energy. This is not a corporate festival. It is an independently produced, community-minded gathering on a working farm property with real Canadian history baked into the ground it sits on.
The organizers have been upfront about the rough edges that came with 2025, and have used that experience to build something stronger for 2026. The DYOC policy — where you bring your own cooler with your own drinks — came directly from listening to what festival-goers wanted. Ticket prices are kept intentionally affordable. Kids under 12 get in free. Healthcare workers get a free day-pass, full stop.
And then there’s the lineup. Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk performing together on a Sunday night, outdoors, in Frontenac County — that’s a genuinely special thing to be in the room for. Wil & Company on Saturday. Miss Emily. Devin Cuddy. I, The Mountain. Eighteen acts over two days, and a completely free acoustic mass-participation event called Guitars Galore on top of it all. There’s a lot here for the ticket price.
📅 The 2026 Lineup
Gates open at 10:00am both days. Times are subject to change.
Saturday, June 27
11:00 – 11:45
Abby Stewart — Country
Country opener to kick off Saturday morning right.
12:00 – 12:45
Graven — Folk
1:00 – 1:45
Crooked Wood — Folk
2:00 – 3:00
Devin Cuddy — Bluegrass
Son of legendary Canadian musician Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo. Devin brings his own laid-back, roots-drenched thing, and it fits this setting perfectly.

Grievous Angels — Rock
4:30 – 5:15
RAXX — Hip Hop
5:45 – 7:00
Harm & Ease — Rock
7:30 – 8:30
Kasador — Rock
9:00 – 11:00 — Saturday Headliner
Wil & Company — Soul Changing
Wil is a Kingston-area icon with a career spanning decades. “Soul Changing” is how he describes what he does, and it’s an accurate description. Closing Saturday night under the stars with a two-hour set is exactly the right call.
Sunday, June 28
11:00 – 11:45
Vancamp — Folk
12:00 – 12:45
Lowery — Rock
1:00 – 1:45
Emilie Steele & The Deal — Rock Country
2:00 – 3:00
GoudCreated — Multi Media Painter
Not a band — a live multimedia painting performance. Shane Goudreau creates visual art live on stage in sync with music. It’s one of those things that sounds unusual until you’re watching it happen.
3:15 – 4:00
The Soul Shakers Union — Folk Rock
4:15 – 5:15
Jessie T — Country
5:30 – 6:45
I, The Mountain — Folk
7:15 – 8:30
Miss Emily — Blues
One of Canada’s hardest-working blues acts. If you’ve never caught Miss Emily live, the late Sunday afternoon slot on an outdoor stage is a perfect introduction.
9:00 – 11:00 — Sunday Headliner
Raine Maida & Chantal Kreviazuk
Two of Canada’s most celebrated singer-songwriters, performing together on a summer night in Frontenac County. Raine Maida is the voice of Our Lady Peace. Chantal Kreviazuk has been one of Canada’s defining musical voices since the late ’90s. Together, they’re something else entirely. This is the reason to make the drive.

🎸 Guitars Galore — Free Public Participation Event
This is something new for 2026, and it happens outside of the main ticketed event. Guitars Galore is a free, public, all-are-welcome acoustic mass-performance event held at the Line Spike venue. Admission is free. Parking is free. No ticket required.
The idea: fill the amphitheatre with acoustic pickers, strummers, pluckers, percussionists, vocalists, and string players, and see what happens when dozens — maybe hundreds — of people play together. It’s inspired by mass-participation music events that have been running in Europe for years.
If you play an instrument and want to be part of it, RSVP is requested so organizers can plan. Email [email protected] with your instrument(s), or click through via ticketstripe.com/linespike2026 (first option after “Get Tickets”). Full date/time details to be announced — watch linespike.ca for updates.
🅾 Free admission and free parking for Guitars Galore. No festival ticket required. RSVP encouraged so organizers can plan the performance.

💡 Things Worth Knowing Before You Go
📅 Book before June 5. The current ticket tier has a limited allocation and prices rise after June 5, 2026. The Weekend Pair at $239.99 is strong value for what’s on offer.
🥘 Decide early on DYOC. The cooler pass is a separate purchase. If you plan to bring your own drinks, add the DYOC ticket when you buy — there’s no guarantee it stays available.
👪 Bringing kids? Under-12s are free. This is an all-ages event with a family-friendly mandate. The outdoor amphitheatre setting gives kids room to move without disrupting anyone.
⛈️ It’s rain or shine. The event runs regardless of weather (with a safety pause plan for lightning/high winds). Pack appropriately for a full day outdoors in late June.
🚩 Enter from Babcook Road. The GPS address is 3587 Harrowsmith Road, but entrance is via Babcook Road. Follow the posted signs and don’t try to cross the fields from the road.
💰 Cash is welcomed. While card and debit are available at many vendors, cash avoids processing fees. The festival encourages supporting vendors directly with cash where possible.
🐶 Leave pets at home. Animals are not permitted within the amphitheatre due to the festival’s insurance policy.
🏭 RV guests arrive June 26. If you’re coming in an RV or motorhome, you can arrive the night before (Friday June 26) and stay through Sunday night. Check ticketstripe.com for the RV package options.
🚫 No campfires or fireworks. Strictly prohibited and will result in eviction from the property.
