✨ Why PanamFest Is Worth Clearing Your Weekend For
PanamFest is produced by ArtsXplosion, a Toronto non-profit, and has grown into Canada’s largest celebration of the diversity of the Americas — representing 41 countries across North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean. It’s been named Best Latin Festival in Canada twice at the Latinos Awards in Montreal, and in 2025 it drew more than 60,000 visitors and generated over $26 million in economic impact for the city.
What makes it stand out is the range: this isn’t just a concert or just a food festival. There’s a full culinary program with cooking demonstrations and competitions from more than 20 chefs, a central stage with over 600 performing artists across the weekend, a costume-and-culture parade, and a youth talent showcase — all layered into one downtown square.
Many of the performers, artisans, and chefs come from BIPOC and equity-deserving communities, and the festival pays them for their work rather than treating the event as unpaid exposure — which shows in the quality and range of what’s on offer.

Traditional and contemporary music and dance from across the Americas — cumbia, salsa, samba, reggae, reggaeton, and more — with over 600 artists performing across the weekend.

🚇 Getting There & Parking
Nathan Phillips Square sits right at Queen Street West and Bay Street in the heart of downtown Toronto, directly in front of City Hall.
Subway: Take Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Queen Station or Osgoode Station — both are about a five-minute walk from the square.
Streetcar: The 501 Queen streetcar stops directly at the corner of Queen St W and Bay St.
GO Transit: Arrive at Union Station, then ride Line 1 north one stop to Osgoode or two to Queen — your GO-to-TTC transfer is free when you tap a PRESTO card. It’s also a scenic 12–15 minute walk straight up Bay St.
