One of the East End’s most beloved street parties is back. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12pm to 6pm, the Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest takes over Queen Street East for its 12th year — ten vibrant blocks of food, music and neighbourhood energy, hosted by the Riverside BIA.

Stretching from the Don Valley to just past the world-famous De Grassi Street, it’s a feast for the senses: 50+ local eateries dishing out tasters and specials, five street-closure hubs, two parks, a beer garden, Pride activations, and a packed roster of free entertainment. And it won’t cost you a cent to join in.

The festival runs along Queen Street East in Riverside, just east of downtown across the Don River. It’s very transit-friendly — the 501 Queen streetcar runs right through the heart of it, so hopping off anywhere between the Don Valley and De Grassi Street puts you in the middle of the action.

Queen Street East stays open during the festival, but there are five local street closures at the destination hubs — check the BIA’s road closure info before driving, and consider transit to skip the parking hunt.

💡 A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Go

🍴 Come hungry, bring cash. The food tasters are the whole point. Many vendors take cards, but cash keeps things moving when you want to graze across a dozen spots.

🚋 Take the 501 streetcar. It runs straight down Queen East through the festival — far easier than parking, and you can hop off at whichever block looks busiest.

🎨 Pair it with the Art Walk. The Riverdale Art Walk is on the same weekend in Jimmie Simpson Park — an easy two-for-one if you’re already in the area.
