T.U. Jazz Fest is different from traditional jazz festivals. It’s built specifically to support emerging and equity-deserving musicians—giving them paid performance opportunities, mentorship from established artists, and direct exposure to industry leaders and audiences.
The 2026 edition brings together 130+ musicians from Canada, the United States, and Romania, alongside Grammy and JUNO Award winners like Justin Gray (legendary producer and bassist), Jonny Tobin (keyboardist), and others. Masterclasses with these icons are open to all festival-goers, making this a rare chance to learn from the best while supporting the next generation.
Free admission means everyone—whether you’re a dedicated jazz fan or just curious—can be part of this celebration of artistic development and Canadian music.

Friday, September 4
Doors open noon. Two outdoor stages running simultaneously. Free music, family zone, food vendors, and the Welcome Market.
Saturday, September 5
All-day festival programming. Masterclass sessions with Grammy/JUNO winners. Late Night Jam Session (new for 2026). Kids Zone activities all day.
Sunday, September 6
Final day of performances. Both stages active. Food, vendors, and a final celebration of emerging artist talent.
