✨ Why This One’s Worth the Trip
The #BollywoodMonster Food Festival runs alongside the larger #BollywoodMonster Mashup, Canada’s biggest free Bollywood music and dance festival, produced by monstrARTity Creative Community — a registered charity that also runs arts programming for schools and seniors. The food festival side is where the eating happens: dozens of vendors serving samosas, dosas, momos, kebabs, and ice cream, plus shopping from local South Asian businesses.
Because it’s layered into the full Mashup weekend, you’re not just getting food — there’s a KidZone with crafts and inflatables, food-eating contests, a Bollywood fashion show, live music and dance performances, and even a SuperDogs show, all built around one central square in downtown Mississauga.
Admission is free with an RSVP, and everyone who RSVPs is entered to win one of five #BollywoodMonster plushies — though you’ll need to be on-site Saturday when winners are announced to claim one.
