Downtown Milton SummerFest 2026
Summer kicks off in style on Saturday, June 6, 2026, when Main Street shuts to traffic and Downtown Milton turns into one big street party. From noon to 8 p.m., the whole core fills up with live music, street food, vendors and family fun — and it’s completely free to wander in.
Hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area with support from the Town of Milton and presented by BMO, SummerFest is a celebration of everything that makes the downtown tick — local shops, restaurant patios, makers, and a great lineup of local talent across several stages.

✨ Why This Festival Is Worth Your Saturday
There’s something about a street that’s normally full of cars suddenly belonging to people instead. SummerFest closes Main Street and fills it with music, food smells, kids darting between activities, and crowds spilling out onto restaurant patios. It’s the unofficial start of summer in Milton.
What makes it work is that it’s genuinely a community event. It’s run by the Downtown Milton BIA, so the focus is on the local shops, restaurants and makers that give the downtown its character — this is a day to discover the businesses on your doorstep, not just pass through.
And it’s free, all-ages, and easy to dip in and out of. Come for an hour of music, stay for dinner on a patio, or spend the whole afternoon letting the kids loose on the bouncy castles. However you do it, it’s an easy, feel-good day out.

The big one — found at the Millside Drive / Fulton Street & Main Street intersection, showcasing bands across a wide range of music all day.

🚗 Getting There & Parking
Main Street is closed for SummerFest, so a little planning makes the day smoother. The easiest option is transit — but there’s parking nearby too.

Milton Transit is free all day June 6 — conventional, OnDemand and Access+ (specialized) — with service extended to 8:30 p.m.
🚗 Parking
Municipal lots surround Main St. E. The Milton Fairgrounds lot (136 Robert St., entrance on Robert St.) is also open.
⚠️ Note
The lot at 124 Main St. E. (beside Grill Daddy) is closed for food trucks during the event.
💡 A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Go
🚌 Take the free bus. With Main Street closed and lots filling up, free Milton Transit (running until 8:30 p.m.) is the stress-free way in and out.
💸 Bring some cash. Many street-food and artisan vendors are quick if you have cash on hand, even where cards are accepted.
👪 Come hungry, come early with kids. The bouncy castles, rock climbing and games are a hit — mornings and early afternoon tend to be calmer for little ones.
🍹 Make a meal of it. Downtown’s restaurant patios are open — a great way to cap off an afternoon of music and browsing.
⛅ Dress for the day. It’s an outdoor street festival running into the evening — sun protection for the afternoon, a light layer for later.
