🌮 Why Taco Fest Mississauga Is Worth the Trip
Taco Fest Toronto has sold out every single summer for eight years running. That’s not a fluke — it’s because the organizers at Cravings Food Co. have figured out exactly what makes a food festival actually fun: serious food from chefs who are genuinely competing, cocktails that are good enough to slow you down, and entertainment that feels like it belongs rather than just filling gaps in the schedule.
This Mississauga edition is the first time Taco Fest has expanded beyond Toronto, and the location choice alone makes a strong argument for going. Port Credit Memorial Park sits right on the waterfront — it’s one of Mississauga’s nicest outdoor event spaces, and a lakeside backdrop for a summer taco festival is about as good as it gets.
The Mississauga culinary community has its own distinct character, and this edition will bring local favourites alongside the Toronto vendors who’ve made Taco Fest what it is. The first-ever Best Taco Mississauga competition means someone’s going to walk away with a title — and you get a vote in who earns it.

The venue is right on the Mississauga waterfront in Port Credit — easy enough to reach, but parking is limited so it’s worth planning ahead.

Port Credit GO Station is walking distance from the park. The Lakeshore West line runs frequently on weekends — it’s the most stress-free way to get there from Toronto or the west end.
🚗 By Car / Rideshare
Parking near the venue is limited. Rideshare drop-off is the most convenient option. The address is 40 Lakeshore Blvd East, Mississauga. Street parking fills quickly on busy weekends.
🚊 By MiWay

💡 Tips to Get the Most Out of Taco Fest
🔥 Book now — seriously. Multiple entry slots have already sold out and availability is limited. Taco Fest Toronto sells out every year and the Mississauga debut is tracking the same way. Don’t wait.
📅 Pick your entry window strategically. The evening slots (4:30pm+) have a different vibe from the afternoon — more charged atmosphere, live entertainment ramping up. Families or anyone bringing teens should book morning entry (before 3:30pm).
🌮 Pace yourself on tacos. 125+ options means you cannot try everything — and you probably don’t want to. Pick the vendors that look most interesting and actually savour them. The Best Taco vote works best if you’ve given a few a fair shot.
🊣 GO Train is your best friend. Port Credit GO Station is right there. Drive to a GO lot, train in, walk to the park. It’s significantly easier than hunting for parking in Port Credit on a summer weekend.
☀️ Dress for an outdoor summer festival. Port Credit Park is a lakeside venue with no indoor spaces. Sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and a light layer for the evening are worth packing.
🔞 The 19+ rule is strict — and includes strollers. After 3:30 PM, no one under 19 can enter, including children in strollers. If you’re bringing family, plan for the morning session and check ID requirements.
❓ Common Questions
When and where is Taco Fest Mississauga 2026?
June 27–28, 2026 at Port Credit Memorial Park, 40 Lakeshore Blvd East, Mississauga. Saturday runs 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM; Sunday runs 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
How does the timed entry system work?
You purchase a ticket for a specific entry window and must arrive during that window. Once inside, you can stay as long as you want. Re-entry is not permitted, so don’t leave and expect to come back in. Entry windows are: 11:30am–1pm, 2pm–3:30pm, 4:30pm–6:30pm, and 7:30pm–9:30pm.
Is food and drink included in the ticket?
No. Your ticket covers admission and access to the festival experience and vendors. Food and drinks are purchased separately on-site, starting at $4. Budget accordingly — it’s easy to spend more than you plan when 125+ tacos are in front of you.
Can I bring kids?
Yes, but with restrictions. Ages 5–18 may attend between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM with a youth ticket ($12.95). Kids 4 and under are free. After 3:30 PM, the festival is strictly 19+ — and that includes children in strollers. Anyone under 19 must exit by 3:30 PM.
What ID is accepted at the door?
Government-issued ID is required. Accepted forms include a driver’s license, passport, or government-issued ID card. ID must not be expired.
Is there parking at the venue?
Limited parking is available near the venue. For the easiest experience, take the GO Train to Port Credit Station (Lakeshore West line) — it’s a short walk to the park. Rideshare drop-off at 40 Lakeshore Blvd East also works well.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
No. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued after purchase. The event is also rain or shine, so weather isn’t a reason for a refund.
Can I change my entry time after purchasing?
Yes — you can update your entry time through your TicketLabs account as long as your desired time slot isn’t sold out. The support team cannot make changes if the slot is unavailable.
Details may change — always confirm dates, entry times, and policies on the official Taco Fest Mississauga website before heading out.
